By the end of Feb., the DWL-48-type continuous tamping and stable vehicle (short named DWL-48-type Tamping Vehicle) indigenization electrical system was successfully installed and passed on-site inspection. For the stability and reliability of the performance, the company got the good reputation from the customers.
DWL-48-type Tamping Vehicle is the latest introduced large track maintenance machinery for the maintenance of high-speed railway. Accelerating its indigenization electrical system is significant for the development of China‘s railway construction machinery industry. Therefore, this project was taken as the tackle project by Zhuzhou CSR Times Electric, Co., Ltd. Due to its complexity, advanced technology and short delivery time of the project system, the project team faced tremendous pressure in project organization, technical design, materials procurement and manufacturing. After the efforts of design, manufacture, logistics of three project teams for six months. From the project was to start in Mar. 2008，completed two sets of prototype design and production trial by the end of September, passed the factory assessment of Ministry of Railways in October, and got the high praise of the experts. The project was recognized as the outstanding annual excellence projects of CSR in 2008.
In the following years of 2009 , the newly established DWL-48-type Tamping Vehicle of indigenization electrical system loading work will also be launched in the near future.
