TEC micro-processor control and display system on this diesel locomotive exported to Saudi Arabia includes micro-processor controller, displaying equipment, voltage-rising filter modules etc. The locomotive often ran across deeply desert, at temperatures up to 43.3 ℃ in the afternoon. In the depths of desert, the roadbed was totally submerged in sand. Airflow produced massive sandstorms on the sides of the locomotive due to wind direction changes. All these bad working environments affected the normal operation of the products.
Finally, TEC products passed the high temperature, harsh sand environment tests successfully. TEC software technology of displaying equipment made a breakthrough innovation by overcoming the difficulty of the Arab hieroglyphs showing in highly legible way.
