On July 18, Zhuzhou CSR Times Electric Co., Ltd. (TEC) signed a contract with the owner Beijing railway construction company in the purchase of propulsion system on Beijing Metro Line 7 project.
Beijing Metro Line 7 is an important project referring equipment industry supported by Beijing municipal government and will begin to run in 2014. Beijing Subway Rolling Stock Equipment Co., Ltd is the vehicle company. The total vehicles amounts up to 35 sets 210 cars, which is the biggest order of TEC propulsion system in the area of Beijing and Tianjin.
Since first half year 2012, TEC has won the bid of propulsion system in Wuxi Metro Line 2, Hangzhou Metro Line 2, Chongqing Metro Line 6 second phase project and other projects. In Changsha Metro Project, TEC has acquired order from Changsha metro line project in the field of propulsion system, train braking system and signal system—the most important 3 systems, realizing a historic breakthrough in metro industry.
