TEC won the tender with traction system order for 180 vehicles in Nanning metro line 1. This is another significant breakthrough in new domestic urban rail market after TEC obtaining the first order in Southeast China, namely the traction system order for maintenance machines in Fuzhou metro line 1.
This year, TEC has won 11 bids among total 17 tenders for traction systems in domestic urban rail market. Basing on the quantity of the orders, TEC already got 65% market share, which approved TEC’s leading position in the urban rail systems market nationwide.
Nanning metro line 1 is the first subway in Nanning city, Guangzhou province, with the length of 32.1 km and 25 stations. It is expected to be established and put into operation by the end of year 2016.
