The project team overcame three major setbacks and finally found a breakthrough during the two years, then it completed the engineering practice test verification and review of the system at the Ningbo outfield.
Regardless of tight time and heavy tasks, the project team completed in succession the equipment installation, system function test, interface test, integrated joint debugging, over 100 scenario tests and other engineering applications at the Ningbo outfield within three months. Meantime, it completed the verification of the system's safety, reliability and availability according to the industry standards and design requirements. Its system performance and test results have been highly appreciated by the industry association, industry experts and users, and made the company succeed in obtaining the admission ticket to the FAO market.
It is reported that Phase I of Ningbo Metro Line 8 is generally southeast-northwest. The line starts from Jiangcun Station in Yinzhou District in the southeast and ends at Jiangbei Avenue Station in Jiangbei District in the northwest, with a total length of 23.3km. The whole line is laid in the form of underground line. There are 19 stations in the whole line, including 9 transfer stations. The project bidding has attracted 9 signal manufacturers to participate in. After obtaining the project information, the Urban Rail Business Department and CRSC in Hunan established the project team for close tracking and elaborate planning, developed the competition strategy and implementation plan, and deeply practiced the AA cooperation mechanism, thus successfully won the order in the end.
Currently, FAO has become the main development trend of urban rail transit signal system in the future. Obtaining this order is an important milestone and of great significance in the development history of the communication signal industry of CRRC Times Electric. It marks the company's breakthrough of the first order in independent FAO.
