On September 24, the scientific and technological achievement evaluation meeting of "research and application of independent IGBT key technologies of rail transit" hosted by experts and Academic Committee of China Urban Rail Transit Association was successfully held in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province.
The meeting was presided over by Zhong Jianhua, an expert of China Urban Rail Transit Association and executive deputy director of Academic Committee. 13 experts from industries such as Fu Zhihuan, Liu Youmei, Luo an and Wang Yaonan, academicians of Chinese Academy of engineering, served as the judges, and Luo an, academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, served as the leader of the evaluation expert group. After expert review, the independent IGBT development and reliability evaluation technology were highly praised and unanimously passed the evaluation.
On the day of the meeting, the evaluation expert group went to Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Co., Ltd. for on-site investigation. First, it checked in detail the first 8-inch IGBT chip production line in China and the second global IGBT module production line for automobile and power grid, and learned about the R & D, production and Application of relevant products. Subsequently, the expert group listened carefully to the report of the project team, discussed and questioned the technical, economic and social benefits and product reliability of the project, and the project team replied in combination with scientific research achievements and application performance. The expert group made a comprehensive evaluation on the degree of innovation, the advancement of technical and economic indicators, technical difficulty and complexity, technical reproducibility and maturity, the role of technological innovation in promoting scientific and technological progress and improving market competitiveness, economic and social benefits, and passed the evaluation opinions.
At the end of the meeting, Zhong Jianhua, an expert of China Urban Rail Transit Association and executive deputy director of the academic committee, concluded that the technology that can solve the autonomy of urban rail transit needs comprehensive support for promotion and application. It is suggested that Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Co., Ltd. make full use of national and industrial policy support and standard traction, actively apply for demonstration projects relying on the association, enhance industry influence, and accelerate the promotion of independent IGBT electrical traction system.
