In the keynote speech session, Yu Weiping first introduced the development of CRRC's new businesses. He said that CRRC has formed a business structure based on rail transit equipment and seeking diversified development of strategic emerging businesses, further consolidating its advantages of railway equipment business, expanding the the urban rail and urban infrastructure businesses, diversifying the new businesses such as electromechanical, wind power equipment and new materials, and realizing the standardized development of the modern service businesses to satisfy and lead the diversified market demand.
Then, Liu Ke'an introduced the wind-power machine business of CRRC Zhuzhou Institute. Focusing on the research, development and manufacturing of electric transmission and control equipment for rail transit as well as railway rolling stock accessories, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute set up Wind Power Business Unit in 2006, and now its delivery of wind power machines has ranked among the top in China.
Taking the research and engineering application of polymer materials as the core, CRRC Times New Material has realized large-scale engineering application in various industrial fields such as rail transit, wind power, automobile and high-performance polymer materials. As the second largest wind blade manufacturer with the strongest independent R&D capacity in the field of wind power generation in China, CRRC Times New Material has become one of the few enterprises in the world capable of manufacturing polyurethane blades in a large scale, with its sales scale and market share of wind turbine elastic vibration reduction products ranking first in China. Peng Huawen highlighted the wind blade business of Times New Material.
