Today, CRRC Times Electric Wuhai Company held an unveiling ceremony in Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, marking the official settlement of CRRC Zero-Carbon Intelligent Equipment Industry Base in Wuhai.
Upon completion, the project will produce 5GW of zero-carbon equipment, such as "wind-solar-storage-hydrogen" per year, helping to build Wuhai into a city of "clean energy" in western China.
Wuhai municipal leaders attended the unveiling ceremony, including Tang Yi, Secretary of the CPC Wuhai Municipal Committee, Yang Jin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Wuhai Municipal Committee and Mayor, Jia Qingdong, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Wuhai Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor, Sun Hao, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Wuhai Municipal Committee and Secretary of the CPC Haibowan District Committee, Li Chunxiao, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of CPC Wuhai Municipal Committee, Guo Yijie, Vice Mayor, Wang Jiping, Vice Mayor, as well as the senior executives from CRRC TEC, including Shang Jing, Executive Director and General Manager, Niu Jie, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Deputy General Manager, Ma Wenjun, Deputy Chief Economist and General Manager of Green Energy Division, Cheng Zhenyi, Deputy General Manager of Green Energy Division and General Manager of Wuhai Company.

He said that CRRC TEC, as a core technology company under CRRC, has always taken innovation as the primary driving force, and actively implemented the strategy of "Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality" based on transportation and energy sectors, thus contributing to people's safe and convenient travel and green and low-carbon life. In the future, with Wuhai Company as a platform, CRRC TEC would give full play to technology empowerment and work with industry partners to help the new energy industry of Wuhai move towards high-quality development by improving its industrial competitiveness. In addition, CRRC TEC would actively collaborate with partners in diversified application scenarios such as coal mines, metallurgy and heavy trucks in Wuhai to make greater contributions to the construction of beautiful Wuhai with more smart solutions of CSR.
It is reported that, as a leader in the global rail transit industry and a new energy "wind-solar-storage network" system solution provider, CRRC TEC will thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on Inner Mongolia and focus on Inner Mongolia's 14th Five-Year Plan to support the development of local industries and increase scientific and technological innovation with the mindset of the whole industry chain. CRRC TEC will continue to invest in new energy equipment such as photovoltaic inverters, wind power converters, hydrogen power supplies, energy storage systems, etc., and connect the sections of "research, production, marketing and service" to build a zero-carbon intelligent equipment industry base that integrates a marketing center, a "zero-carbon" technology R&D and innovation center, a "zero-carbon" full life cycle service center, and a "zero-carbon" equipment manufacturing center, injecting new vitality into and increasing added value for the local new energy industry chain with its own advantageous products.
On the day of the ceremony, leaders of the CPC Wuhai Municipal Committee and Wuhai Municipal People's Government and CPC Haibowan District Committee and Haibowan District Government, as well as representatives of energy enterprises in Haibowan District visited the company's plant, highly affirming the project's progress and placing great hopes on the future of the industry.
