3000 horsepower hybrid shunting locomotive off-line
On June 8, the 3,000-horsepower hybrid shunting locomotive (FXN3D) loaded with Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Co., Ltd. batteries (634 kwh) officially rolled off the production line at CRRC Dalian. The locomotive adopts the"Additional program" power system with the power battery as the core, which ensures the auxiliary charge of the power battery at the optimal economic speed. Compared with the traditional diesel shunting locomotive, its diesel engine has been greatly reduced from 24-hour running to only 2-hour running per day, thus achieving high fuel efficiency and low carbon emission reduction.
The first commercial HXN6 internal-electric hybrid locomotives went off-line
On June 9, the first commercial HXN6 internal-electric hybrid locomotives loaded with Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Co., Ltd. batteries (with a total installed capacity of 2,537 kwh) were successfully rolled off the production line at China Automotive Ziyang Co. . The locomotive has been fully upgraded from the original HXN6 internal-electric hybrid locomotive. The power source is composed of a high-safety liquid-cooled power battery pack and a diesel generator pack. It can save 30% to 50% of fuel consumption, reduce emissions of harmful substances by 40% to 80% and achieve low-carbon green power substitution for traditional diesel locomotive.
