Recently,DSJ-80 maintenance vehicle for metro sound barrier (hereinafter referred to as "sound barrier maintenance vehicle"), independently developed and produced by Baoji CRRC, debuted in Ningbo Metro Line 1.
The maintenance vehicle has successfully completed the task of sound barrier maintenance for the line. The operation fully verified the advantageous performance and maintenance capacity of the sound barrier maintenance vehicle, received high recognition from users, and the first vehicle was thus successfully delivered.
DSJ-80 maintenance vehicle for metro sound barrier
This vehicle is an efficient and multi-function device (MFD) independently developed to address the pain points of poor safety and low operation efficiency of metro sound barrier maintenance by manual ladder truck, ensuring proper installation, overhauling and daily maintenance of fully/semi-enclosed sound barrier of elevated metro lines and overhead contact network. The operation device mounted on the vehicle can not only overcome the difficulty of the height of working platform (too high inside the tunnel and too low outside) faced by the traditional maintenance vehicle of overhead contact network, but can cater for the maintenance of tunnel wall and high-altitude operation.
In order to ensure successful delivery of the vehicle and present the user with the advantageous performance, on-site delivery was performed by technical personnel in cooperation with after-sales service personnel for a week-long "theory + simulation + practical operation" training, equipping operators and vehicle maintenance managers with in-depth understanding of the sound barrier maintenance vehicle, and further enhancing the relationship between technical staff and the customer as well as strengthening the product image building and promotion.
The operation training was delivered in the garage, parking lot line and testing line in turn, mainly to verify the safety protection function and operation performance of the sound barrier maintenance vehicle item by item, and simulate the operation conditions of sound barrier maintenance for more experience in subsequent main line operation. After ensuring the simulation test meets the standard, the team will further conduct final operation performance verification of the sound barrier maintenance vehicle on the main line.
In order to ensure operation safety and efficiency, the formation of "internal combustion locomotive (power vehicle) + sound barrier maintenance vehicle (non-power vehicle) + sound barrier maintenance vehicle (non-power vehicle) + internal combustion locomotive (power vehicle)" was adopted during main line operation. Through the preliminary theoretical training and simulation operation, the main line operation was successfully completed and reached the expected operation target. As an important member of metro operation vehicle portfolio,sound barrier maintenance vehicle is the first product as such produced by Baoji CRRC.
The successful delivery of the vehicle provides an alternative for high-altitude operations such as metro sound barrier and overhead contact network maintenance.
